Q: How do I request a custom piece?
Easy. Contact me directly at [email protected]
Q: How does pricing for custom pieces usually work?
I keep it simple. Everything is a flat rate, and I like to think I keep it VERY affordable for most people. In most cases, I offer a 50/50 split on the total cost. What that means is, you give me 50% of the total up front as a deposit, and the balance is paid upon completion after you've approved, but before anything is sent out.
Q: If I commission something, do I then have to buy the print from your shop?
No. All commissions include a custom print mailed directly to you. In cases of international orders, I will email over the digital file to you to ensure that you receive it, and there are no issues with shipping.
Q: Does every commission automatically get turned into a print for purchase?
No. In most cases, when it comes to commissions involving well known characters/people, etc, I like to offer that as a print. In the cases where the commission is personal such as family members, friends, animals, etc - I do not offer that as a print for everyone to purchase.
Q: Do all available prints come in the exact same sizes?
No. Prints that allow for sizing in 8.5x11" or 11x17" will offer that size, but for the most part the standard sizes will be 16x20" and 18x24".
Q: Can I return my print after I've received it?
No. All sales are final. If you've received a damaged poster/tube, you can email for a replacement, however, no refunds can be given.
Q: Do all prints come with the artist's signature, and individual numbering (if applicable)?
Yes. Every print is hand signed/numbered unless otherwise specified.
Q: If I purchase a collab piece, can you have the (other) person sign it for me before shipping?
No. It's not possible for me to have each person sign their specific print, and then have them sent out. If you purchase a collab print, I encourage you to bring it with you at any events that person might be attending, and have them sign it in-person.
Q: Will every piece of art you've done as a commission be available to purchase as a print?
Unfortunately, no. When doing private commissions, I reserve the right to offer the artwork as a print. When doing artwork/design that will later be used as merchandise (by the person who commissioned it), I can't offer that artwork without their consent. I will do my best to feature as many as I can.
Q: How often will new items be made available to purchase?
Since this is very much a one man (me) show, I will do my best to update the shop AT LEAST once-a-week with new items (if applicable). If you follow me on socia media, and are looking for something from my back catalog, feel free to email me a request.
Q: Are the actual print sizes accurate to the descriptions?
Sort of. All artwork is created at 16x20", so those prints are in their native format. The larger 18x24" are enlarged to fit the paper roll, so there might be extra bordering around the edges. All prints are trimmed slightly, so the actual paper sizing might be SLIGHTLY different, but nothing substantial.
Q: How are the prints shipped?
Anything larger than 8.5x11" is rolled, and packed inside hard cardboard poster tubes. 8.5x11" prints are shipped flat, and covered by thick cardboard to prevent bending.
Q: Do you offer framed prints?
I do not.
Q: Do any of the prints come on gloss poster paper?
Since I'm not really a fan of gloss poster paper, all posters wil come printed on a heavyweight matte poster paper. I might experiment with super heavyweight paper options in the future.
Q: Why does some of your artwork offer 8.5x11" or 11x14" sizes, and others do not?
Simply put, some of the artwork just doesn't look good on smaller sized layouts. Some of the artwork has backgrounds that are created in a 16x20" size, and when it's reduced down, it fits on the smalled sized pages awkwardly.
Q: Why don't you offer international shipping?
Unfortunately, due to rising costs of everything, and weird international relationships, the shipping costs have become astronimically high, and/or there is no guarantee that your print will arrive. Hopefully, this changes in the near future. I'm working on solutions.
